Who we are

MagicScreenshots (magicscreenshots.com) is run by Humanleap Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 14881734), registered office Unit A1, Churcham Business Park, Gloucester, GL2 8AX, United Kingdom. Questions about this policy: support@humanleap.com.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and sign-in details, handled by our authentication provider (Supabase Auth).
• Content you give us: screenshots and app icons you upload, app details (name, description, App Store URL), and the prompts and settings for each restyle or localization job.
• Generated images: the screenshots we create for you, and share links if you create them.
• API keys: we store a hashed copy and a short prefix of each key, plus when it was created and last used. We never store the full key.
• Billing data: your plan, credit balance and purchase history. Card details go directly to Stripe through our billing provider Autumn; we never see them.
• Agent and API requests: calls to our MCP server, REST API and CLI (the tool called, its arguments and the time), and the API key used if any.
• Usage analytics: inside the signed-in studio we use Vercel Analytics on a 20% sample of page views (pages visited, referrer, browser and device type, country). It does not use cookies.
• Browser storage: we keep your current app selection and a short-lived app list cache in your browser’s local storage so the studio loads quickly.

Why we use it

• To run your account and sign you in.
• To generate, store and show you your screenshots.
• To take payment and track credits and subscriptions.
• To let AI agents and scripts use MagicScreenshots on your behalf with an API key.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To understand which pages are used, so we can improve them.

Who processes it

• Supabase: database, file storage and authentication.
• Google (Gemini API): your uploaded screenshots and job instructions are sent to Google to generate images.
• Autumn and Stripe: subscriptions, credits and payments.
• Vercel: website hosting, the MCP server and API, and analytics.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with these processors, or where the law requires.

The screenshot library

The public library shows App Store listings (screenshots, preview videos, app names and developers) that app developers published on the App Store. It contains no personal data about our users.

How long we keep it

• Your account, uploads, generated images, jobs and apps: until you delete your account.
• API keys linked to your account: until you revoke them or delete your account. Keys that were never claimed by an account hold no personal data and are kept until revoked; email us to have one removed.
• Billing records: as long as UK tax and accounting law requires (currently six years). They are held by Autumn and Stripe and are not removed when you delete your account.
• Server and usage logs for the website, MCP server and API: 90 days, then kept only as anonymised statistics.

Your controls

• Delete individual uploads and generated images in the studio.
• Revoke API keys in Settings.
• Delete your account in Settings. This removes your jobs, apps, screenshots, stored images, profile and sign-in account.
• Ask for a copy of your data, or for a correction, by emailing support@humanleap.com.

Children

MagicScreenshots is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
